Blue Water has been awarded the port logistics contract for the Horns Rev 3 Offshore Wind Farm by Vattenfall. An exciting challenge lies ahead

Horns Rev 3 means a lot for the local companies in Esbjerg, and it is also important for us to be a part of”, says Klaus Odby, Manager Port Agency for Blue Water.

The scope for Blue Water will include stevedoring, warehousing, terminal handling, project agency and general logistics surrounding the project.

Horns Rev 3 Offshore Wind Farm is located 25-40 kilometres off the west coast of Denmark, and will consist of 49 of the so far most powerful turbines in the world. They have a total capacity of 400 MW, equivalent to the annual consumption of 425.000 households.

The installation of foundations will commence in 2018, and the entire park is expected to be running at full power in 2020.
