CEE Group again with successful transaction in Brandenburg

The Hamburg-based company CEE continues the expansion of its wind power portfolio and acquires another German wind farm in Lüdersdorf, Brandenburg. Seller is the Danish European Energy A / S.

The wind farm consists of two Vestas V112 units. The hub height is 140 meters, the rotor diameter is 112 meters and the total output of the wind park is 6.6 megawatts (MW). The plants commissioned in May provide environmentally friendly electricity for about 5,000 households each year. CEE Operations GmbH, which manages the CEE Group’s portfolio of power plants, is responsible for commercial operation. The seller of the park is the project developer European Energy A / S from Copenhagen, where CEE recently acquired a 27.6-megawatt wind farm in Brandenburg.

With the Windpark Lüdersdorf, CEE Group’s renewable energy portfolio is growing to around 592 MW. In 2017, CEE energy parks are expected to produce around 930,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity from renewable sources.
